The Project: Design catalog to showcase the doors and hardware that Project Doors & Mouldings LTD manufacture and sell.
Company: Project Doors & Mouldings LTD. is a family owned company located in Abbottsford, BC. They have been in the door business for over 15+ years servicing British Columbia and beyond. They offer a wide range of doors from customized wooden residential entrance doors to commercial fire-rated doors. For all your door needs PD&M is your place to go.
Design Concept: As the company grows so does the need for updates and changes. They needed one catalog that contains all the products they manufacture, carry and supply. That would work both for printing and digital viewing, while keeping a design similar to what is trending in the door industry. The key of this design is to focus on the doors and not to take away from their own individual design. In order to do that, I used lines to showcase the straight edges of doors. Adding simple elegant lines can go a long way in design, with the proper placement they can fill blank space, add simple touches and piece together information as well as many other secret traits.
The first catalog design was to capture literally everything the company carries and offers. (78 pages)
