The Project: Create a catalog that sells Air Plants in print and digital form as well as some advertisements for print and social media.
Design Concept: The Rootless Log is a catalog for shopping for the perfect air plant friend to join your home. They grow all their air plants at their nursery in Richmond, BC. They wanted to expand their client base and start a printed and online catalog.

Typography: I chose a bit of a playful font choice because The Rootless Log is all about having fun and taking care of your health and plants. The curve on the R reminded me of the ends of the air plants. They aren't 'rooted' to anything, just as the R doesn't connect with the baseline, instead it curves up.
Colour: I stuck to a leafy green colour palette that best suited my subject matter. I colour picked from one of the air plant images I used.
